“Dear Paranormal Australia,

I had the pleasure of joining Daniel Phillips on his ( Lower North Shore) Sydney ghost tour Friday week ago and may i just say that if you get the chance to go, then you must. It was fantastic! I had no idea how many interesting historical folk were so close by. Being a lover of natural history I was particularly interested in the stuff involving Charles Darwin and the “Australian connections” , but there’s definitely something for everyone on this tour!

My tour also included William the “Grey Ghost!”( a beautiful Weimaraner dog – their company mascot! 😀 )

A part of the tour was a visit to “Tarella” the Victorian era Mansion on Amherst Street, that still has the original old stables! (I can’t believe I live 100 metres from them and never even knew they were there!), fascinating historical accounts (stuff I just never knew about Sydney’s origins and the people involved), ghost stories, and, the spectacular flaming torch-lit cemetery, which is a rare visual treat so close to the heart of Sydney!

Daniel, himself, speaks with polish and confidence and after lots of dedicated research, has extensive local knowledge. Moreover, he is a polite and professional host whose passion for maintaining and sharing local and specialised historical knowledge is, aside from everything else, an important community service. In truth, the whole event just really surpassed my expectations.

Another good thing about this tour is that Daniel can tailor it for different groups e.g. school kids to hens/bucks nights. I’m a bit of a wuss so I wanted fewer ghost stories and more historical content and he was totally happy to oblige! Anyway, I implore you to not only support this excellent and novel local business, but to enjoy the night learning a little more about the history of Sydney and having, overall, an entirely stimulating and fun evening! I’ll be going back for more.

Yours sincerely
